Raimy Thorsen, half-elf, half-human, is the ward and niece of the Elven King. Now with him at her mercy, she strikes a deal. He must help her avenge the murder of her mother; a mystery that haunts Raimy. Bastian and Raimy must put aside their grievances or succumb to the dangerous beings that scavenge in the shadows, fuelled by rage and distrust. Their quest takes an unexpected turn when they stumble upon a prophecy; equality will come to a land built on secrets and discrimination, altering the fate of darklings forever. But in order to fulfill the prophecy, Raimy must confront the truth of her blood and embrace the impending heartbreak.
