Iris is Princess and sole heir to the throne. After the heartbreaking death of her soulmate, she has refused thousands of suitors over the last few years. One day, a Fae Prince makes a betrothal offer she can’t refuse. The story is staged as a more political romance in a fantasy setting. However, war is looming on the horizon and Iris will eventually have to face the harsh realities that come with ruling a nation. The ultimate goal of the story is built into three parts, a semi-platonic relationship building into passion, a betrayal and kidnapping, and then a war.
