Indigo Hayes has lived her entire life at Woodcreek Preparatory School- a sanctuary and boarding school for young Variants, or people with “superpowers”. In her long tenure as a ward to professor Elias Clemons and Woodcreek itself, she has seen her fair share of the horrors of injustice and prejudice. In the loss, she has gained independence and strength, as costly as it may be. When a test subject arrives with a connection to the organization that destroyed her family, Indigo has to make a choice- and it may cost her life.
