In the quagmire of crisis, Dark Shards are going missing, and Mania has to convince Perspective and Patience that her kind are worth saving only to discover a deeper power is abducting dark aspects.

At this point, I am looking for feedback on style, tone, and initial characterization to set up for a more in-depth exploration of how various aspects of a person's mind, including symptoms of mental illness, challenge a person's mind and responses to various scenarios.
