Hello, I'm Leila Freydøtter.

I hated reading growing up​,​ it was always a chore that was forced and the material boring. It wasn’t until Covid hit that my real love of reading consumed me. Writing though? I’ve been writing since grade three in journals​,​ over loads and loads of books. I’d go back every once and awhile and read them seeing how much life had changed. Recently we lost everything in a house fire​,​ every journal gone. The novel I had started writing​,​ gone. Everything just gone over one night due to arson. Poof. Gone. My family of four and our jerk cat all made it out without a scratch​,​ thankfully. When my husband replaced my laptop he encouraged me to write again and save it somewhere that couldn’t be taken away. My journals still are pen to paper​,​ but the stories that rattle around in my head now have a place to call home. The goal is to publish​,​ maybe what calms me will be entertaining for others?
