Turning into a demon wasn’t on Ember’s to-do list. Homework at Reed’s Lake Institute wasn’t supposed to be dangerous. Starting her third year of college in the heart of Grand Rapids, Ember struggles with juggling her part-time job at the coffee shop and studying for her witch internship. But when she accidentally summons a demon to her kitchen, it turns her life upside down, as classmates go missing and some end up dead. After transforming into a demon for the first time, Ember has to make the hard choices to keep her roommate safe from other demons and herself. Will she be the next one to disappear?
