Dragon Blind (A Romantasy)

Asha, is a free-spirited young princess with a love for nature and animals, who faces the rigid expectations of her warrior-centric society. Her father, Emperor Idris, holds her in low regard and decides to put Asha in the sparring ring at a young age despite her lack of interest and skill in combat. She is viciously attacked by her brother, Kwasi, under their father's orders. As a result, she loses her eyesight, finds herself exiled by her family, and is assigned to work in the dragon pits. Despite her harsh circumstances, Asha develops a unique bond with dragons and discovers a sense of purpose in caring for them. Given the choice, she would trust her fate to the claws of dragons rather than the hands of men. Asha’s world is upended when she inherits three dragon eggs, a powerful discovery that sets her on a treacherous path. Dragon eggs have not been seen in centuries, making Asha's possession of them highly dangerous. In a desperate attempt to escape her arranged marriage and unravel the secrets of the eggs, she joins forces with Adriel, a mysterious and morally gray prince from another kingdom who also desires the dragon eggs. Asha forges an unusual bond with a dragon named Drakkar, who holds the keys to their entrance to the dragons in the northern mountains. Asha and Adriel began as enemies, but as they face life-threatening obstacles together, they can no longer deny the growing romantic tension between them. With each new challenge, Asha is forced to question whether she will stay confined within her role as a submissive princess or take a leap of faith into the unknown.
