My current WIP is about a sunshine shifter who can't seem to control her shifting, which causes all sorts of problems in her life, as you can imagine. She's fired, out of work for weeks, and finally when hired at a new agency ends up working with the last person she ever expected to see again - the hot as sin man who flew in and out of her life in minutes after helping her out on her worst day ever. When she learns the identity of her new co-worker (he's a vampire from a notoriously evil family) and that she will be sent on a week long work trip with him, naturally, her panic induces another mortifying shift, much to his amusement. Tropes we have so far include: sunshine x broody(?? kinda? maybe some grumpy, still working it out) enemies to lovers oops only one bed forced proximity banter no third act breakup I'm currently at about 55,000 words of my first draft (but I edit as I go, I'm a rebel I guess but it works for me). I'm looking for someone who enjoys contemporary romance, paranormal​/​fantasy, and is familiar with both genres. Think Bride, The Fake Mate, My Roommate is a Vampire, etc.
