In a land abandoned by the gods, where the exiled and desperate hid, was born a goddess gifted with the power to read the destiny of those around her, and to shape the world as she wished. Aletheia, the goddess of truth. Her creator, Prometheus, forbade her to reveal their fates to the mortals. As she ruled over this forsaken nation, came to life a fateless man, Tycheros, her favored being. Perfectly, desperately unpredictable, she dreaded his death. So, one day, she revealed to him the future. Banished at her very words from the human realm, she could only watch her beloved perish. Drowning in great despair, Aletheia let fall seven tears from her eyes, which sank into the land. United, they could give anyone the power to free humanity from their fates. In the godless nation, war raged, while the tears were split apart and forgotten. Centuries later, two strangers, in a meager try to save the Jia empire from yet another war, embark on a delusional quest. Willing to give meaning to their lives, they decide to search for the tears of the forgotten goddess. Maybe, with Aletheia's legacy, they will finally be free.
