The Lost Aether Compass
Action packed. High stakes. Enemies to lovers. Secret identities. MMC is hilarious. FMC is hilarious. The talking dog is hilarious. The Villain is sooooo fine. I’d love beta reads or critiques partners. It’s already been through a round of alpha reads, a developmental edit and a complete overhaul to make it the most action packed it could be. Finishing out the final smooth over before I pick a time to publish it. I’m totally open to providing feedback also! Let’s be friends 💕 An ancient labyrinth. A portal between worlds. A race across dimensions and the girl who will unlock them all. Valeria Lochlear's mother was murdered on the day she was born by a secret society trying to stop her birth. She sacrificed herself so her daughters could get away. Two infants escaped. One didn’t. Hidden away in a pocket dimension for 18 years, orphaned sisters, Valeria and Vynesse, must go on the run when the man who's been hunting them finds them at last--a haunting, bloodsucking monster, as vicious and ethereal as an angel of death, who will stop at nothing to finish what he started. Escaping into a whimsical world they've never seen before with monsters hounding their every step, Valeria is certain of two things. Whoever this man is, he murdered her mother. And she will bring him down. With spies everywhere and no one to trust, Valeria and Vynesse must go undercover in the last place their mother was seen alive--the Hollow. A labyrinthian city carved within a mountain, to steal back a sinister artefact that their mother fought to destroy. The Lost Aether Compass. A timeless treasure that will plunge the world into chaos should her killer ever be allowed to use it. To finish what her mother started, Valeria will need to plunder the Hollow's deepest secrets. To scour the depths of the earth, to find an ancient labyrinth hidden in the Hollow and earn its secret power for herself. To become the greatest thief in the multiverse, to break into crypts and vaults and forbidden archives to track down the Lost Aether Compass before the secret society can enact their final plans. But time is slipping away. There is a betrayer in the Hollow, someone working in secret to race against Valeria and steal all the secrets of the Hollow for themselves, and everything is pointing to the mysterious rogue who keeps getting in her way. Handsome as the devil and twice as dangerous, with secrets and motives that are life and death of his own. A race across dimensions. A bend of time and destiny. A sacrifice beyond compare. For fans of Six of Crows and Powerless comes a new enemies to lovers fantasy romance with heists, rebellions, ride-or-die friendships and a fast paced steampunk setting. Debut novel the Lost Aether Compass joins Valeria Lochlear on an epic quest for power and revenge, running so hard from a deathless monster, when will she realize everything is pulling her closer to him in a way she can never return.

Requirements & Requests
Really want feedback and reviews. It’s gone through 1 round of Alpha readers, a developmental edit, and a complete manuscript overhaul to make it the most fast paced and exciting and fun it could be. I’ve gotten really good feedback so far and I’d love to know what’s working or what isn’t. I am not sensitive at all, in fact I love criticism, I want this to be bulletproof. So even anything that made you stop reading, I’d love to hear!
Comparable Stories:
Six of Crows and Powerless are my comp titles, but in reality this is Stranger Things meets Tangled meets Spike from Buffy the Vampire Slayer thrown in as the funniest, sexiest villain ever.
