Tomorrows: A Poetry Collection

Book Introduction: Tomorrows is a collection of poetry written between 2017 and 2018 by Brittany Luckham while she struggled with depression, anxiety, and—unknown at the time—Autism. Inspired by contemporary and classical poetry Luckham offers rich visualizations and explores her endless curiosity and creative imagination through poetry and prose. This collection is divided into three parts. Section one, What I Didn’t Know contains the core of Luckham’s struggles with mental health and undiagnosed Autism. The second section, Witches and Wonders, is an exploration of creativity; poems as fictional stories. The third and final section, Letters of Hope, proves that even in the worst of times Luckham has maintained hope for her future and seeks to inspire others to do the same.

Requirements & Requests

I'm looking for someone to review my collection and help me sort the poems. I've divided the collection into three sections, but I want to make sure the progression from one poem to the next makes sense. I also want to know if there should be more sections, if the section order should change, and if poems should be removed altogether. I have the entire draft in Reedsy and I think, if you have an account, I can add you to the "project." If not I'll share a PDF file via Google Drive so we can leave comments and collaborate that way.

Trigger Warnings:

Mentions of depression, anxiety, grief, and mental health issues in general. The creative poems explore fantasy elements and dark themes.
