Here is a brief synopsis of my story: Estrid had been raised for this moment, a tool alongside her brothers to carry on their father’s legacy and finish his war. Lowen did not choose to be a soldier and did not pick this fight, but the Stelen rebellion army gave her safety and a home so what could she do but fight for them? Both are victims of their circumstances who fight their way to power within their armies. They had never been given reason to doubt the causes they fought for until they met one another.
